It should have had a puzzle element, ie, during the daytime scenes, so that you're not just walking or driving to places where the action happens at night.
But I mostly enjoyed the game.. the mechanic of using light to stun enemies actually felt fresh after so many cover shooters, lovely graphics, tense atmosphere, ridiculous fights against possessed JCBs and trains.. good stuff, more please!
In pointing out the disgusting hypocrisy of people who post here? No shame whatsoever.
Care to explain what "these trolling accounts" is supposed to mean?
Disagrees!
Why would I want to hear a Sony fanboy's opinion on a Xbox game any more than I'd want to hear an Xbox fansite's opinion on a Sony game?!
Just poking fun at how everyone ignores Kinect games like they don't exist.
Or pretends they're not 'hardcore games' - even though they're being made by some of the best developers in the business.
"Most dumbest person", lol.
LBP is an abortion of a 2D platform game.
What are you talking about, crazy person!
Some of these are for Kinect therefore they DON'T EXIST / DON'T COUNT.
Steel Battalion? THAT'S NOT A HARDCORE GAME!!?!
An Xbox website talking about a Sony game gets criticised by Sony fanboys, who then give their thoughts on Xbox games. THE LOLS!
Halo 4 and Witcher 2. And Jutekki, Star Wars, Ryse, Alan Wake 2 (maybe), Project Draco, Fable: the Journey..
Great lineup.
Should have taken the chance to slam Sony hard over the PSN outage / data breach scandal. Very disappointing, Planet Xbox.
A new VP seems a lot more likely than your Nintendo buy-out scenario, to be fair.
Kinect Sports has quality, substance and charm - so did Nuts & Bolts.
Their reputation has been blackened since joining MS but the games haven't dipped in quality.
In fact we can be thankful they're not churning out mind-numbing, empty-world collect-a-thons like they were in the failed N64 years.
Viva Pinata Kinect please, you would think it's a no-brainer given the efforts to promote the 'family friendly' originals a few years back.
Which were the best Rare titles in quite a wee while.. (maybe ever?)
Top game, still need to try the sequel at some point.
Damnit guys, get off my case! :p
How often do you hear channels say 'Kinect BBC 1'?
Or how about to just say a channel name?
I was referring to the score on Metacritic, which can quite fairly be considered "the opinion of the wide majority of critics".
It's not a perfect way of judging but it's the best, most all-encompasing measurement we've got.
I respect the verdict of the AIAS too but don't conisder it the only one worth listening to by any means.
It's completely the opinion of the wide majority of critics, across three platforms.
I really hope not, but I fear they might.
Critics have done a hatchet job on it so far, particularly with big games like Dance Central 2, exactly the same as what happened with anything that wasn't Mario or Zelda on Wii.
Because, you know, motion controls are casual etc.
And I think if the same happens with next year's big Kinect games and they end up not selling, MS may well phase it out next gen.
Hardly, what with Skyrim very obviously being this year's best game.
As the article says there's still a few more to come - and it looks like Skyward Sword will be in and around 96 too. Thank goodness for Metacritic or people would be arguing all kinds of crazy choices for game of the year!!
Gears 3 is easily worth a nomination - but then so are a lot of other worthy games that are also missing from this list.
Skyrim is the obvious champion and I think it'll clean up with these awards.
